Thanks for the donations!
A high tide and busy Sunday around the prom, with a little sunshine poking through and a post swim sighting of the Brightlingsea seal.
The water temperature had dropped a little to 6.4 degrees but although the wind was 18mph it was a north-north-westerly, so the water was nicely undulating where I swim, rather than pretty choppy in the place where I swam last year.
I was very grateful to the various groups of people who stopped by to say hello and particularly to those who contributed to the £21 in donations which I will be forwarding on to St Helena Hospice.
This swim brings up the halfway point for December’s challenge, so with 1500m covered, I have just three swims and another 1500m before I will be able to tick off month two.
