More support from Caroline

I was delighted to be joined again this morning by my friend Caroline, also a regular at the Colchester Buddhist Centre. Incredibly the temperature has dropped again and was a mere 6.8 degrees. This time last year the temperature was still 9.2 degrees. Caroline got into the water far quicker than me - I have a set of preparations which I don’t like to divert from, which may look from the outside as a bit of faffing about!!

My recovery routine is even more strict and I was fully clothed, beach hut locked up and on my way home in 9 minutes, so I was well prepared for the after drop today, which fortunately didn’t trouble me.

I was delighted to receive some cash sponsorship from George and Theresa Simons who often see me preparing to go into the water. Thanks you both for your encouragement and generation donation, which I will be passing on to St Helena Hospice.

I also managed to add my prayer flags to my noticeboard today and next week I hope to get the donations tin up and running for those enjoying a warm wrapped up stroll along the prom.
