More sunshine and first sponsor

Another lovely sunny day with a slightly higher air temperature of 8 degrees and a lower water temperature of 11.3 degrees. With under 500m under my trunks I am now halfway to completing the first month’s challenge of 3000m.

Although I’m yet to publicise the challenge (there is still a very long way to go until 31st March) I am delighted that the first sponsorship donations have arrived. I received a very generous anonymous donation of £150 for the Buddhist Centre. I’m very grateful to whoever has pledged that very generous sum. I am raising money for both the Buddhist Centre, where I spend a lot of my time as one of the ordained Buddhists, leading classes and helping people learn to meditate, and the St Helena Hospice, the Singlepoint part of which provided my Dad with some wonderful support at the end of his life.
