What a difference 24 hours makes

The first swim of ‘spring’……yeah right!

Despite being the same water temperature as yesterday, the same air temperature and wind speed, I found today so much colder than my experience on Sunday. I’m not sure if it was my preparation but I edged quite close to my old friend 'the ‘after drop’ when I was getting changed today. I also had a bit of trouble with the beach hut padlocks as my ability to use my hands was significantly hampered by the cold.

I also had another even less successful attempt to film the swim from the swim buoy. So not to be outdone I have ordered a simple head strap camera mount for Michael’s underwater action camera. This may arrive in time for my swim tomorrow, however if it doesn’t then I will definitely be sporting it for my next swim on Thursday.
