Great day for a walk (and a swim!)

After a magnificent full moon last night, which stayed brightly in the sky until after my morning meditation it was a wonderful day for a walk round Brightlingsea promenade. Lots of people were out offering encouragement and I was particularly grateful to those who put contributions in my Winterfest collecting tin.

The recent cold spell has dropped the water temperature to 8.1 degrees and with air temperatures not rising much over the coming days it looks like we will drop below 8 degrees very soon. I had a much more comfortable post swim experience today, partly due to the lack of wind and also from the psychological benefit of the sun shining.

November distance is now up to 6,500m which takes a good momentum into December which may well be a harder month due to the lack of daylight around the high tide for most of the first week. Hopefully the conditions will be favourable during the rest of the month.
