A visit from my friend Chris

I was delighted to find that I had company today when my friend Chris cycled down the beach hut to watch the wintery spectacle. A slight drop in temperature to 5.2 degrees and a strong west-north-westerly breeze made for a challenging swim, taking just over 13 minutes, a good minute more than my usual time for 500m.

Chris also managed to take a few pics of me in the water, which is great as my usual selfies just show me unexcitedly out of the water!
