A strong west-south-westerly with Caroline

The return 250m straight into the waves was a bit of a challenge today, combined with quite bright sunshine that was right in my eyes. Fortunately I had Caroline for company, who really is braver than me, having just returned from some wild swimming in Northumbria!

The temperature was nice today, a full 6 degrees and with no prospect of snow in these neck of the woods during the rest of the winter, I think I may have experienced the lowest temperatures for this challenge. Famous last words…… only time will tell!
