A Royal visit from the famous Max

A chilly cloudy day of only 2 degrees was the backdrop for me to complete 3,000m in one month. This is the monthly target for the next level up of the Polar Beach Challenge; the Artic Challenge.

When I returned back to the beach hut to change I discovered a very special visitor; Max the famous Brightlingsea cat. He visited several times in the summer and it was a delight to find him happily curled up on a chair when I returned from my swim today. As usual I had to take the chair (or should that be throne), with Max still fast asleep, outside and then gently rouse him whilst tipping up the chair. Needless to say he wasn’t impressed! I’m sure he will be back. As will I.
