The sign of the Crocs

This is the familiar sight at high tide outside Beachhut 119. It means if you scan the sea between the swimming pool and flash point you should see my pink hat and pink swim buoy making slow but steady progress back to these very useful footwear.

After a day of sleet yesterday, today the sun came out. I also had some great support from several of my fellow writers from the Brightwords Writing Group. Many thanks to Anne, Stephen, MJ and John who came along to support a chilly 500m in 6.3 degrees of water. The outside temperature was 3 degrees but according to the BBC Weather page it “feels like minus 3”. I certainly would not have disputed that!

Today’s Boojabooja post swim chocolate treat was Stem Ginger, along with two small ginger bread teddy bears from M&S.
