Temperature rise and 750m

I was quite surprised when checking the sea temperature with my thermometer this morning. An increase to 8 degrees from yesterday’s 6.9 degrees. It certainly felt warmer and with another gentle west-south-westerly wind I decided to attempt the longer distance. I also tried out the new Crocs post swim and the snack bowl that my friends at Winterfest gave me yesterday (see pic below).

The sunshine brought out lots of walkers enjoying the prom and another £17 collected from those passing by, which is over £100 in cash since I started on 1st November.

I now have a couple of days rest and should be back in the water on Friday 29th.
