Just me and my collecting tin
A contrast from the previous day it was quite a dull and overcast swim with very few people around. One of those quite lonely late afternoon swims, where sensible every person (and their dogs) are snuggled up indoors!
As usual I prepared with my collecting tin as it started to drizzle with rain. However the water was again fairly warm, just under 9 degrees, so I set off for the standard 500m course.
In the morning I had been and visited the lovely ladies from the Wooly Bully craft group who had given me a donation of £150 the previous week. It was great answering questions about the challenge and I was very grateful for their donation and their interest in how I’ve spent the last 5 months. It’s not quite 5 months but it is certainly getting close to the finish line of 29th March, when I will be declaring the challenge for this winter as completed.
