Another 750m

A smidge below 10 degrees in the water but another enjoyable 750m. The grand total is now 36,600m, which is 22.74 miles. The total funds raised now stands at £1947.55 after today’s swim.

The last two days have started to make me think that I really ought to be pushing my distance up to 1km per swim for the last week.

I have 7 swimming days left, assuming nothing comes up and prevents me from going. If I manage 750m each swim I could reach 26 miles. There’s something quite tempting about pushing it to reach the marathon distance in a winter. Maybe I will need to put in one or two 1km swims just to make sure.

I will definitely need someone spotting on the shore if I’m going to attempt that, even in these warmer waters. I’ll see if I can get anyone to be along the prom with a mobile phone during the next 7 days and who knows.
