I think it may be winter…

Bright, cold and beautiful. The coastline around Essex takes on a magical quality this time of the year, and Brightlingsea is one of the jewels in the North Essex crown. Of course it’s perfectly reasonable to enjoy the sight of the sea without actually swimming in it during the winter months…… but where’s the fun in that!

Due to the recent bump in air temperature the sea had climbed to 7.7 degrees adding to the enjoyment of a winter dip.
